Kinky Boots Participated in National Kindness Day in Memory of Princess Diana

Diana

The high-heeled musical took part in a special occasion which is annually held to remember Princess Diana and all the virtues of kindness she always cherished. The 31th of March is the day when all people commemorate Princess Diana and do something good for the world.

Lady Di believed that young people are destined to create better life. Despite your background, complexion, age or gender you are humane enough to show your compassion and willingness of help to others.

The willingness of help “Kinky boots” demonstrated as well. The musical was staged at the Adelphi Theatre on Wednesday 29 March. The money the show raised was directed for the anti-bulling programme. It encourages teenagers and adolescents to eliminate any acts of bulling in schools and other establishments.

According to Tessy Ojo (CEO of the Diana Award), the show itself is about “…celebration of understanding, acceptance, compassion and kindness and our collective responsibility for the wellbeing of others”.

In response to Ojo’s words, the producers of the musical (Daryl Roth, Hal Luftig) said: “…We hope that by working with The Diana Award we can help spread the word that you can truly change the world when you change your mind”.
